The Milan forward is recovering after surgery to fill a small hole in his heart which caused a mini-stroke last Saturday.

Prandelli arrived at the Policlinico in Milan today and spent around 30 minutes with Cassano and wife Carolina.

“He was in good shape. I'll tell you the rest on Monday,” was all the Italy tactician would tell journalists.

Cassano hopes to recover in time for Euro 2012, but it is going to be very tricky, as medics warn he'll be out for four to six months.

Some ultras also paid a visit to Cassano and revealed he was his usual jokey self.

“I would've preferred breaking a leg to having a heart problem,” he reportedly commented.
