Italian national team boss Cesare Prandell has admitted that he is yet to make his mind up on the final 23-man squad for the World Cup.

The Azzurri are training all this week at Coverciano in Florence, before travelling to London on Saturday to face Republic of Ireland at Fulham’s Craven Cottage.

And the Coach has revealed that he will not make his decision on the squad that will go to Brazil until after that clash.

“I have not decided anything yet,” he told reporters. “I still have to wait and see how the players react to the workload we’re putting them under.

“And then, only after Saturday’s match against [Republic of] Ireland will I give you my 23.

“We’ve done a lot of endurance work these last few days, but it hasn’t only been physical – but mental as well.

“With this training at the moment I can’t really think of anything else.”

Italy will be in London on Saturday May 31 to play the Republic of Ireland at Craven Cottage in their first warm-up game ahead of the World Cup.
