Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has told the Italian media to let Antonio Cassano do his talking on the pitch.

Prandelli is fed up with fielding questions about the Milan playmaker.

Speaking to Rai Sport before this evening's friendly with Germany, Prandelli said: "Enough talking about Cassano. We have to stop it.

"I now want to see the kind of behaviour from Antonio that in my opinion will be extraordinary.

"I now want to see the kind of behaviour from Antonio that in my opinion will be extraordinary.

"The challenge with the Germans is not revenge for 2006. As far as I am concerned we need to understand our limits and to give the right significance to our work."

Asked about the search for young talent, he said: "It's an obligation for me because when the FIGC called me they wanted to go down the route to change.

"I hope to soon have the luck, like Enzo Bearzot had, to find a Beppe Bergomi – a youngster ready to play at this level."
