The Grifone are one of only three teams to have taken points off the leaders in Serie A this season, although at the time Ivan Juric was still their Coach.

“We are facing a remarkably strong opponent, but in football anything can happen and when we’ve got the ball, we must create our chances,” said Prandelli in his Press conference.

“I still haven’t recovered from the defeat to Parma, because we had so many scoring opportunities and didn’t make the most of them.

“We’ve got to be solid and aggressive against Juve. They might seem invincible, but there’s no such thing as the perfect team in this sport. They will inevitably leave us some chances and we must take them.

“Juventus have quality and extraordinary players, but we need to be daring and ride our enthusiasm.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has been left behind, while Max Allegri hinted that Blaise Matuidi, Giorgio Chiellini and Wojciech Szczesny will also be among those rested at Marassi.

Genoa are missing Andrea Favilli, who is expected to return to training on Monday, but goalkeeper Andrei Ionut Radu returns.

Genoa squad for Juventus: Marchetti, Jandrei, Radu; Gunter, Criscito, Biraschi, Romero, Pereira, Zukanovic; Lerager, Pezzella, Sturaro, Mazzitelli, Rolon, Radovanovic, Lazovic, Bessa, Veloso; Sanabria, Lapadula, Kouame, Pandev, Dalmonte
