Inzaghi is coming under increasing scrutiny after a poor run of results. The Rossoneri have taken just one point from their opening three games of 2015, losing at home to Sassuolo and Atalanta.

Adriano Galliani met with the Coach at Milanello yesterday, and despite the widespread belief that the former striker’s job is not under immediate thread, Corriere dello Sport states that Milan do have some alternatives in mind.

The first would be Cesare Prandelli, who is currently unemployed after leaving Turkish club Galatasaray.

The former Fiorentina Coach left a job in charge of the Italian national team after a poor showing in last summer’s World Cup and subsequently endured a torrid time in Istanbul, but the newspaper believes Prandelli is still on Milan’s radar.

The alternative would be Luciano Spalletti, who is also without a job after being dismissed by Zenit St Petersburg.

The 55-year-old is still well regarded in Italy after winning widespread praise for his work at Roma between 2005 and 2009.
