Portugal will face Azerbaijan in Turin next week, and the team will train at Juventus' training centre.

"I'm sure Cristiano is over-motivated, not just because he scored goals," Portugal coach Fernando Santos told A Bola.

The 36-year-old netted a hat-trick against Cagliari last week. He has 23 goals in just as many Serie A games so far this season.

"Cristiano has extra motivation when he represents the National Team. I am sure he will come with the same ambition, not thinking about personal goals, but focusing on those of the national team,” the Portugal coach continued.

"I know that he has a huge dream of participating in this objective, which is to play the World Cup and be able to win it. That is the main objective."

Meanwhile, speculations about Ronaldo’s future continue, with Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueno who refused to rule out a return to the Santiago Bernabeu.
