Portugal coach Fernando Santos continues to ignore Milan star Leao who starts on the bench for the third time in a row in Qatar.

Portugal have have already qualified for the World Cup Round of 16 and one point in the last Group H match against South Korea today will allow them to win the group.

Leao, who scored a goal in his World Cup debut against Ghana last week, starts on the bench again today. It’s the third time in three games for the best Serie A player of 2021-22.

It kicks off at 16.00 GMT.

Fernando Santos has picked Ricardo Horta Vitinha and Cristiano Ronaldo up front.

Leao made his senior debut with Portugal in October 2021 and has scored one goal in 13 appearances with his national team.

He has only started three games for Portugal and never played a game from start to finish with the Seleção das Quinas.

The 23-year-old has seven goals and nine assists in 20 appearances across all competitions with Milan this term.

South Korea-Portugal: confirmed line-ups
