Santos defender Jackson Porozo is linked with Roma and Lecce in Serie A, as his agent confirms he wants ‘a club that will allow him to grow professionally and personally.’

The 19-year-old was mentioned in Lancenet as a target for the two Italian clubs, as his contract is running down, although Santos do have an option to extend.

“We have two proposals from Europe,” agent Ulisses Jorge told Lancenet. “The player does not wish to continue with Santos and we are seeking the best solution for him.”

Another of his representatives, Daniel Manouchehri, spoke to Calciomercato.it about the situation.

“His future will be decided soon. Jackson wants to play at a high level and has everything it takes to be world class. He was named best centre-back of the Under-20 South American tournament in 2019, his Ecuador finished third in the Under-20 World Cup and then he made his senior debut.

“He needs a club that can offer the right conditions so he can grow both professionally and personally. We’ll soon make a decision on the various proposals that are on the table.”
