The businessman has been at the helm of this club for over a decade, but this is their first ever Serie B season and they are among the favourites for promotion via the play-offs.
“Considering the wave of messages that I received after this report that I am positive for COVID-19, I want to make an official announcement,” wrote President Lovisa on the Pordenone website.

“Considering the wave of messages that I received after this report that I am positive for COVID-19, I want to make an official announcement,” wrote President Lovisa on the Pordenone website.
“I wish to thank all those who showed interest in my health by sending text messages or making phone calls. It’s true, I too am fighting against this damned virus. I am better now, but not yet recovered. I will have another test next week, hoping to definitively put this behind me.
“I had wanted to keep this matter personal, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Like so many, I had some tough weeks, but overall I could handle it and followed all the instructions to protect my health and that of my family.
“This is nothing compared to those who suffered far more than I did. I also wish to send my thoughts to those who lost a loved one, are currently suffering or are fighting on the frontlines, such as doctors, nurses and volunteers.
“I also wish a Happy Easter to everyone, especially our fans.”
