Inter are close in on Paulo Dybala and are in talks with Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku, but getting both players would mean seeing Lautaro Martinez leave. Should the Nerazzurri do it?

La Joya’s agent Jorge Antun met Beppe Marotta at Inter’s headquarters today and the Serie A giants are increasingly confident about signing the Argentinean striker as a free agent. Marotta is a huge admirer of Dybala and brought him to Juventus in the summer of 2015.

He is not the only striker who could move to the Stadio Meazza in the summer, as Inter are also hoping to welcome Romelu Lukaku back to the club.

Dybala agent holding Inter meeting after Skriniar, Bastoni talks

The Belgium international is pushing to return to his former club less than a year after his €113m move to Chelsea. He struggled to justify his price tag at Stamford Bridge, so he is now willing to go back to the black and blue half of Milan.

However, the Blues would only loan him to Inter for one season for circa €25m or sell him permanently in exchange for one of their stars.

Chelsea at a crossroads as Lukaku pushes for Inter return

Given Inter’s financial struggles, signing both Lukaku and Dybala would force them to sell Lautaro Martinez. The Nerazzurri must part ways with one of their stars to balance the books and Lautaro would become the primary candidate if Inter get both Dybala and Lukaku.

Should Inter do this and let El Toro leave to sign La Joya and Big Rom? Vote in the poll below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

  1. Forget about Lukaku, he is done without Pintus anyway. Had his chance, chose the money.

Martinez + Dybala sounds exciting enough to me.

  2. This should be a Inzaghi decision who he prefers,
my own opinion is that I wouldn’t take Lukaku back
Dybala and Martinez would be a great Argentine partnership

  3. Why is the media story trying to , play this as if that’s the only option, get lukaku, keep Martinez , and don’t buy dybala his too lazy ,if money is needed bastoni or Dumfries can be sold skrinner and de vfij and de Marco and better defensively speaking, inter should also be obsessed with replacing perisic
