Politician alleges Vlahovic broke COVID rules for Juve medicals

Fratelli d’Italia politician Francesco Torselli has alleged that Dusan Vlahovic broke COVID isolation rules to take his medicals with Juventus today.

The 22-year-old Serbian striker visited J-Medical today to undergo tests before putting pen to paper on a five-and-a-half year deal, worth around €7m net per season. The Bianconeri will pay Fiorentina €75m in total including add-ons for the player.

As reported by TGR Toscana, the leader of Fratelli d’Italia in the Regional Council of Tuscany, Torselli, has questioned Vlahovic’s presence at J-Medical on the grounds of breaking COVID isolation rules.

The rules state a person must wait at least seven days before taking a new COVID test, but Vlahovic was in Turin today on day six of seven, having tested positive for the virus on January 22.

Torselli has reportedly asked the Local Health Authority of Central Tuscany whether they granted Vlahovic special exemptions or if he broke the rules to take his medicals with Juventus.
