Politano to Napoli?

Napoli are reportedly closing in on a €25m move for Inter forward Matteo Politano and will be trying to get a deal over the line tomorrow.

Politano was on his way to Roma last week, but a swap deal including Leonardo Spinazzola fell through as the Nerazzurri wanted further physical tests and amend an already agreed deal with the Giallorossi.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli are in pole for the Italy international and could pick up the player this January.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli are in pole for the Italy international and could pick up the player this January.

The Partenopei have offered a loan deal with an obligation to buy the player from Inter, in a deal worth €25m for the 26-year-old.

The report claims they have been talking to Inter during the last few hours and could discuss try to close the deal with the player on Wednesday.

Yesterday, multiple reports claimed that he could still get a move to the capital despite the previous complications and that he was visibly upset when he had to go back to Milan.

The latest report links him with a move to Gennaro Gattuso’s side at the San Paolo.
