Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is training in Miami and will have a new medical check in Pittsburgh before ‘gradually increasing the workload.’

The France international has been forced to miss the World Cup with his national team following a meniscus surgery in September.

Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti delivers the latest injury update on the 29-year-old who has yet to make his first competitive appearance with the Old Lady this season.

According to the report, Pogba is training in Miami and will have a new specialist consultation in Pittsburgh before his return to Turin, where he will gradually increase the workload.

Pogba is being followed by a member of Juventus’ medical staff in the USA, where he is continuing his recovery path.

The ex-Manchester United midfielder returned to the Allianz Stadium in the summer, completing a free transfer after the end of his contract at Old Trafford.

He signed a four-year deal with the Serie A giants, with whom he had scored 34 goals in 178 appearances during his four-year spell between 2012 and 2016.
