Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has an impressive record against Torino and could return to action against the Granata on Tuesday, almost a year after his last appearance with Manchester United.

Pogba has not yet featured for the Bianconeri since returning to the club in the summer, having sustained a severe meniscus injury in Juve’s pre-season tour.

In fact, the last time Pogba featured in a competitive fixture was in Manchester United’s 4-0 loss against Liverpool on April 19, 2022.

During his pre-match press conference on Monday, Allegri said Pogba would be available against Torino tonight and that he could make his first appearance this season coming off the bench.

However, the Frenchman’s possible return will significantly boost the options available to Allegri in midfield.

Pogba boasts an impressive record in the Derby della Mole, having scored against Torino on three separate occasions. No other player in either squad has scored as many in the fixture.

His first goal in the Derby came almost 10 years ago – the only goal and eventual winner in a 1-0 away at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on September 29, 2013. Pogba also scored in both Serie A fixtures against il Toro during the 2015-16 season.

Encouragingly for Juve, they have won 100% of games against Torino in which Pogba has found the net.
Of the last 33 top-flight encounters between Juventus and Torino, the Old Lady have lost only once. Juve have won all seven of the last games in which Pogba featured.
