Paul Pogba’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta has insisted that her client still has plenty of unfinished business at Juventus despite a disappointing season since his return from Manchester United in the summer of 2022.
The Frenchman returned to the Allianz Stadium off the back of a crucial operation on his knee, and, after a series of injury setbacks, he was unable to make his second debut for the Old Lady until the 4-2 Serie A win over Torino on February 28.
There have been further injury issues since then, the most recent of which came just over 20 minutes into the 2-0 win over Cremonese, which has subsequently ruled Pogba out for the remainder of the season.
Despite featuring for only 161 minutes of action over the course of the 2022-23 season, Pimenta has insisted that Pogba possesses a positive mindset in adversity and is still fully focussed on achieving success with Juventus.
Pimenta told Calciomercato: “His mental strength is impressive, it’s something magical. He has an insane ability to overcome setbacks, he does it in an incredible way. Every time he gets back on his feet and moves forward, he never looks back.
“Now, he needs time to recover and when he’s ready he will come back. But Paul is not the type to stop and dwell on the past, he always looks to the future. He always tells me that he still has a lot of unfinished business at Juventus.”
