Paul Pogba is continuing to work on his full recovery during the break for the World Cup and hopes to make his season debut in the Serie A clash between Juventus and Napoli.

According to reports, Pogba is on vacation in Miami with his family, but has taken a member of Max Allegri’s Juventus fitness staff with him to Florida so they can keep the training regime going.

He aims to strengthen the muscles around the knee, which had the meniscus torn in July during training and then had surgery in November when conservative treatment failed.

Pogba had originally infuriated Juventus chiefs by postponing the operation, as he hoped to recover in time for the World Cup with France.

That proved futile anyway, as a muscular problem prompted a relapse and he was ruled out of the tournament.

Next week, the former Manchester United midfielder will fly to Pittsburgh for a consultation with Professor Musahl.

The player is expected back in Turin on December 6 for training with Juventus and gradually return to the field.

According to Calciomercato.com, the aim is for Pogba to play some of the Scudetto showdown with leaders Napoli on January 13.
