Paul Pogba was absent for Juventus’ win over Sampdoria due to injury and there are now fears that he could be ruled out of action for a number of weeks.
The 29-year-old Frenchman’s return to Turin has clearly not gone to plan, having missed 34 of 37 games across all competitions since the start of this season. A serious knee injury and resulting operation have plagued Pogba over the last six months and patience is starting to wear thin in Piedmont.
Pogba’s off-pitch behaviour has done little to calm the Juventus fans, with many furious to see him skiing during the winter break, believing that he’s not taking things seriously in Turin.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba missed out on Juventus’ win over Sampdoria due to a muscle issue and fears are now emerging that he may have suffered an adductor strain, an issue that would sideline him for around a month.
The Bianconeri are also starting to grow impatient with Pogba and may start considering their options ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 2018 World Cup winner is contracted to Juventus until June 2026 and earns a total of €10m net per season, with €8m of that being a fixed fee and the other €2m being add-ons.
