Paul Pogba will partially return to squad training with Juventus today, finally coming back into the fold following his recent knee injury.
The Frenchman returned to Turin in the summer after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, penning a lucrative four-year contract with the Bianconeri. Pogba’s return was almost immediately spoilt by a knee injury which has kept him out of action since his arrival, leaving him frustrated on the sidelines.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba will take his first steps in training with the Juventus squad today, finally recovering from a knee operation carried out last month.
The Bianconeri do not want to rush the Frenchman’s return and are taking things cautiously, keen to avoid any relapses or complications.
Pogba could see action in the Champions League clash with Benfica on October 25, but failing that then he’s likely to return for the game against Lecce on October 29.
