Paul Pogba made his Juventus debut this season, emerging from the bench in the derby della Mole against Torino on Tuesday night.

The France international had been out of action since the summer due to a meniscus injury which required surgery in September.

He was called up for the first time in January in an eventual 2-0 loss against Monza in Turin but was not involved in the game and suffered a new flexor injury after a few days.

On Tuesday night, he made his first appearance this season, coming off the bench at minute 67 in the derby della Mole against Torino at the Allianz Stadium.

His introduction was warmly welcomed by Juventus fans who have been waiting to see their idol on the pitch since his return on a free transfer from Manchester United last summer.

Pogba had made his last appearance in a competitive match for Manchester United in April in a 4-0 loss against Liverpool.

He signed a contract until 2026 in Turin.
