In the second part of his interview with GQ Magazine, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba suggests that financial power is the only thing that makes Premier League better than Serie A.

The France international released a long interview with the Italian magazine, discussing his return to the Allianz Stadium and promising to ‘work hard’ to return to the pitch as soon as possible.

“This is a special shirt, it brings the best out of me. We’ve built a great story here and I’ve never forgotten this team, even when I was in Manchester. I’ve never had doubts that this was the place for me,” he said in the second part of his interview.

“Serie A is always among the most challenging leagues. The real difference with the Premier League is the economic power, but in terms of football, Italy remains among the best in the world in spite of everything.

“There isn’t much difference between Juventus and Manchester United. A top club is a top club. Juventus have always been the best in Italy,” he continued.

“Now they have even better training facilities, they have improved thanks to the same mentality. We always want to win and this will never change.”

The France international made 178 competitive appearances with the Serie A giants during a four-year spell at the club between 2012 and 2016, scoring 34 goals.

He worked under Antonio Conte and Allegri at Juventus.

He then joined Manchester United in a €100m deal in the summer of 2016, managing 39 goals in 233 appearances at Old Trafford.

The 2018 France World Cup winner has now returned to Turin, signing a four-year deal with the Bianconeri. He has yet to make his first competitive appearance with the club this term, having sustained a meniscus injury during pre-season.
