Paul Pogba is on his way back to Juventus as part of a complete revamp of their midfield, as it’s reported only Manuel Locatelli is guaranteed to remain.

Just six years after his €105m transfer to Manchester United, Pogba is returning to Turin as a free agent for the second time.

Today’s meeting with lawyer Rafaela Pimenta was successful, they agreed all the terms and he will undergo a medical to sign the three-year contract with option for a fourth season in the first week of July.

According to Tuttosport, that’s just the beginning of a complete revamp of the Juventus midfield, as only Locatelli is sure will be part of the squad going into the 2022-23 campaign.

Adrien Rabiot is in the final season of his contract and heading towards the Premier League, with a price-tag of €15-20m simple for Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

Arthur Melo was already meant to leave in January before talks with Arsenal collapsed and he remains on the way out.

Aaron Ramsey is negotiating to terminate his contract by mutual consent a year early to get his salary off the books, but he wants €4m to make the split, whereas Juve are offering at most €2m.

Weston McKennie has also been linked with a Premier League move, having now recovered from a fracture in his foot.

Denis Zakaria only joined Juve in January from Borussia Monchengladbach for €8.6m and that alone could keep him in Turin for a little longer, if the right offer does not come in.

  1. Time to finish what he started. Juve need to find 2 strike partners for vlahovic fast. Plus koulibally would be nice.

  2. I didn’t see that in his first Juventus spell, he was an absolute stud, Utd ruined him he’s a player that needs love and he will get that at Juve, and now he is in his prime and a chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong, great singing, I would keep McKennie and Zakaria and sell everyone else

  3. I also hope that McKennie will stay. Both of them can be very dynamic and such an upgrade over Rabiot and Arthur.

  4. Hey ACMilan. I would go and get Weston to replace Kessie. Cheaper than Sanches and you would have American eyes on you. I think Weston did great and would be a great replacement if Juve for some odd reason got rid of him.

  5. The problem is not the players , we should find a buyer for LORD MAX !

Just look at the quality that Kulusvsky and Bentancur are showing at Tottenham.

  6. @ali bentancur is just a good player, nothing more. Even in pirlo and sarri’s era he barely perform, now at Tottenham he’s not really good tho.

  7. mckennie is poor locatelli is better and zakaria is better at winning the ball back than mackennie, no offense but mckennie a bench payer

  8. @RYAN. Spot on. He delivered for Juve in his first stint. It’s Utd that ruined him. I’m almost certain he will thrive at Juve like he did before but only better though he did have Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio in that team.

  9. @kai … he won’t. He had a lot of good players around him first time round. Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio… not to mention a solid defence. He won’t have any of that this time!!!
