Paul Pogba called the Juventus squad together to celebrate his oldest son’s birthday, staying close to the team despite his lack of playing time.

The 29-year-old Frenchman has still not played a single minute for the Bianconeri this season after suffering a knee injury during the pre-season tour in the United States. Pogba underwent an operation in early September and has been sidelined ever since, slowly working on his recovery in Continassa.

As reported by Tuttosport, half of the Juventus squad joined Pogba and his oldest son at a birthday party, with players like Juan Cuadrado, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Angel Di Maria, Leandro Paredes, Weston McKennie and Moise Kean all turning up.

The Frenchman is excited to take to the pitch with the Bianconeri again soon, although he’ll have to wait a little while longer to give his contribution. There’s still no definitive date for his return, but he’s set to return to squad training in around two weeks.
