Paul Pogba assures he is ‘enjoying’ his time at Manchester United and playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo after the 3-2 Champions League win over Atalanta.
La Dea had been 2-0 up at half-time through Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral goals at Old Trafford last night.
However, Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and a late Ronaldo towering header turned it around.
Pogba was surprisingly benched for the game, coming on in place of Scott McTominay at the 66th minute.
“I am always smiling, as I enjoy playing here,” Pogba told Sky Sport Italia after the match.
“I am someone who often smiles, so that means I generally have fun.”
The France international will be out of contract at the end of the season, with suggestions he could move on to Real Madrid, PSG or a return to Juventus as a free agent.
He is also in negotiations for an extension at Manchester United and the arrival of Ronaldo could sway his decision.
“Cristiano is Cristiano and he scored a Cristiano-style goal, so it felt a bit like deja-vu,” continued Pogba to Italian television.
“We are talking about a player who everyone knows, someone who won many editions of the Ballon d’Or and has been the best in the world for many years.
“All we can do is respect him and be happy he is playing here.”
