France Info have reported more details on the investigation into extortion attempts of Paul Pogba, as the Juventus star insists his brother is ‘acting under pressure’ from others and denies hiring someone to ‘curse’ Kylian Mbappé.

The entire story has gripped France since older brother Mathias took to social media with a series of videos to warn of extraordinary revelations about Paul that could affect his career.

At the same time, the midfielder has sparked a police investigation in both France and Italy into attempted extortion carried out by relatives including Mathias.

France Info report today that during his second hearing with police in France, Pogba assures he did not hire a ‘witch doctor’ to place a curse on his international teammate Mbappé.

He insists the person in question was merely a town elder who was contacted as part of an attempt to bring charitable funds to children in Africa.

Pogba also defended Mathias, maintaining his brother is acting ‘under the influence’ of others in the extortion case.

He showed police a text message from Mattias just after the completed transfer to Juventus, which read: “You will think of us now that you have received a signing on bonus.”

It is reported that he has changed his phone number twice since the harassment started, which included unknown persons breaking into their mother’s house in July.

  1. Obviously Pogba is from bad stock. His family and friends sound like pure bottom feeding scum.
