The bid for Juventus' Paul Pogba has now reached €80m as reports emerge of a new offer by Manchester City.

The 'gold nugget' of French football, as defined by UEFA President Michel Platini, has been openly courted by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as the Citizens.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Premiership club set a new high in terms of the real bids for Pogba.

After PSG reportedly put €70m on the table for the player in January, the Sky Blues now emerged with an offer of €80m.
