“The boy picked up a knock in the match against Palermo and so was already a doubt for Cagliari,” the tactician explained.
“He felt a little discomfort in the final training session before the Atalanta game and that caused a thigh issue.
“I spoke with the club doctor and the player where we decided that he wouldn’t be available for action.
“I just hope that he, a young player who can recover quickly, will be back in action against Cagliari.”
Juventus, Winter Champions, take on the Sardinian outfit on Friday night.
