Mauricio Pochettino admits Mauro Icardi has had personal issues but is available against RB Leipzig and reveals he’s already decided whether or not Gigio Donnarumma will play.

The Ligue 1 giants host RB Leipzig at the Parc des Princes tomorrow.

They have four points in their opening two Champions League games after a draw against Club Brugge and a victory against Manchester City.

Italy star Gigio Donnarumma made his Champions League debut against Pep Guardiola’s side last month.

The former Milan goalkeeper was between the sticks when PSG beat Angers last weekend as Keylor Navas missed the match with a muscular injury.

However, the Costa Rica international has resumed training with the rest of the team and Pochettino has already decided who will start in goal tomorrow.

New twist in Icardi-Wanda Nara love saga

I haven’t decided who’s going to play yet. Actually, yes, I have already decided, but I have not yet communicated my decision,” the former Tottenham coach said at his pre-match press conference.

The Argentinean tactician also commented on Mauro Icardi’s personal situation.

The former Inter captain was rumoured to have split up with his wife Wanda Nara although the duo published a few pictures together from their apartment in Milan last night.

“Mauro has not trained with us over the past couple of days for personal reasons,” Pochettino stated.

“He is in the squad and we will decide on the night if he plays.”

The coach also confirmed that Neymar will miss the game against Leipzig with adductor pain.

  1. Whilst FI spends time reporting on gossip, my wonderful city with support from many institutions including Milan won the earthshot prize last night. A gratifying moment for the whole city, club and anyone who has contributed anything to the city and the initiative vs food waste and a better world.

But you guys keep reporting on slime.

  2. This gossip has more to do with football than the Earthshot Prize, not sure why you’d make the comparison.
