Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino said ‘there’s a good atmosphere’ between Keylor Navas and Gigio Donnarumma ahead of the clash with Manchester City.

The Argentine coach confirmed Lionel Messi has trained and will be part of the squad against the Premier League champions in the Champions League on Tuesday.

But the former Spurs coach was also asked about the situation in goal, as reports suggest Donnarumma is not happy about the lack of playing time in Paris.

“Donnarumma? We have two great goalkeepers,” Pochettino said at a press conference. “They adapt to the needs of the staff.

“At the moment we are satisfied. A goalkeeper always wants to play, like any footballer. They are training well, there’s a good atmosphere.

“Of course, we need to find the right balance.”

The 22-year-old joined PSG after leaving Milan on a free transfer this summer, but the European Champion has only played twice in 2021-22.

The former Rossonero has kept one clean sheet in the two Ligue 1 games, but he was benched for the 1-1 draw with Club Brugge in the first round of Group A in the Champions League.

Former Real Madrid player Keylor Navas has spent the last two seasons at the Parc des Princes and the 34-year-old has appeared 88 times since joining PSG.

Navas won the Champions League three times during his time with Los Blancos in Spain and has helped PSG win Ligue 1, two French Cups and the French League Cup.
