Udinese have reportedly started looking for Rodrigo de Paul’s replacement at the Dacia Arena and could make a move for Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports the Bianconeri are targeting a move for the Rossoneri midfielder, who spent 2020-21 on loan with Spezia.

Spezia have an option to buy the 21-year-old, but Milan also have a buy-back option in the deal with the Aquilotti.

Pobega, who recently signed a deal with the Rossoneri until June 2025, played 20 games in Serie with Spezia, contributing six goals and three assists.

The newspaper claims Rodrigo de Paul seems close to joining Atletico Madrid in La Liga and the Friuli are hoping to sign Pobega as his replacement in Udine.
