The players who signed the secret salary agreements with Juventus could face punishment as the FIGC prosecutor’s office continue their investigation, reports detail.

The Bianconeri are in a tough position after the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office discovered the existence of hidden agreements between the club and a number of players, guaranteeing them three month’s wages in the early stages of the COVID pandemic, despite publicly stating that these had been waived.

La Gazzetta dello Sport details how there are serious risks for the players and agents involved in this case, with fines and possible disqualifications on the table for those who signed these secret deals with Juventus.

A number of these signed agreements have already been uncovered by investigators following their search back on March 23 and the FIGC’s prosecutor’s office have opened another file on some agents involved, who are also at risk of facing punishment.

Andrea Agnelli and the club’s entire board of directors unexpectedly resigned last month as a result of this situation and tensions are high in the Piedmont capital.
