Christian Pulisic impressed in a new role for Milan in a 3-0 win over Lecce, but Samuel Chukwueze, Yacine Adli, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud also left their marks in the Rossoneri’s fifth consecutive win in Serie A.

Milan

Maignan 6.5 – A couple of good saves in the second half to keep the first clean sheet in the last four games across all competitions.

Calabria 6 – The captain didn’t have much work to do and, luckily for the Rossoneri, avoided an injury in the second half.

Gabbia 6 – The start wasn’t great as he mismanaged the ball to give Lecce their first chance in the game, but the rest of the match was quite comfortable. (61′ Kjaer 6.5)

Tomori 6.5 – Milan have looked more solid since he returned. The Rossoneri conceded just two goals in the last four Serie A games he started. He’ll be missed against Roma on Thursday.

Theo 7 – Another brilliant performance from the France international who was a constant threat for Lecce. He hit the crossbar with a shoot from distance in the second half and deserved standing ovation when he was subbed off. (83′ Terracciano N/A).

Adli 7.5 – One assist for Giroud and one for Leao. Impressive.

Reijnders 6 – He did the dirty work, but didn’t lack quality. (78′ Bennacer N/A)

Chukwueze 7 – Pioli said on Friday he had seen improvement from the Nigeria international. The coach didn’t lie as Chukwu delivered an assist for Pulisic and won many duels down the right flank.

Pulisic 8 – Captain America scored with his first touch in the game and could have scored the second before the 10-minute mark. Deployed as an attacking midfielder for the first time this season, Pioli expected him to run into space more than the suspended Loftus-Cheek, and Pulisic didn’t disappoint. (61′ Musah 6).

Leao 8 – Another game, another goal for Leao who just can’t stop scoring. The second in the last two matches, and his 8th across all competitions in 2024.

Giroud 7.5 – Killed off the game after 20 minutes, scoring with his shoulder and confirming that a move to LAFC is not a priority. He placed an ice pack on his knee after being subbed off, but it was preventative so he’ll be fit against Roma in five days. (62′ Jovic 6.5)

Lecce Falcone 6.5; Venuti 4.5 (70′ Gendrey 6), Pongračić 5, Baschirotto 5, Gallo 5.5; Blin 5 (78′ Berisha N/A), Ramadani 5.5; Banda 4.5 (46′ Almqvist 6), González 5.5 (46′ Piccoli 6), Dorgu 5 (85′ Pierotti N/A); Krstović 4. Coach: Gotti 5.
