Lazio and Roma picked up a 0-0 draw in a boring derby della Capitale on Sunday: here are Football Italia’s player ratings.

Lazio

Provedel 6 – A quiet night at the office for the Lazio keeper.

Lazzari 6.5 – Won many duels against Spinazzola and was focused defensively.

Patric 6 – The yellow card he received for a foul on Lukaku summed up his performance. He was ready for anything as long as Roma didn’t score.

Romagnoli 6.5 – So tidy defensively. The Lazio captain won almost all duels in style.

Marusic 6 – Selfess performance, the duel with Karsdorp ended with no winners. (81’ Hysaj N/A)

Guendouzi 6 – His physicality was much needed, but didn’t produce any danger for Roma’s defence.

Cataldi 6 – Decent defensive performance, fought hard on every ball. (64’ Vecino N/A 75’ Rovella N/A)

Luis Alberto 6.5 – The Spaniard hit the crossbar with a stunning shoot from outside the box in the first half, but missed an easier chance a few minutes later.

Felipe Anderson 6 – Some inspiring touches down the right flank, he was exhausted when he was subbed off. (82’ Kamada N/A)

Immobile 5.5 – Didn’t get much service, but he fought hard on every ball and finished the game arguing with Mancini and Paredes after appealing for a penalty kick which would have been more than soft.

Pedro 5.5 – Promising start, but he vanished as minutes passed by. (64’ Isaksen 6)

Coach: Sarri 6 – Lazio probably had the best chances in the game. The second half was a bit disappointing considering what the Biancocelesti had produced in the opening 45 minutes.

Roma

Rui Patricio 6.5 – A sensational save in the first half was the highlight of his game.

Mancini 6.5 – Very aggressive as usual, but he got the job done.

Llorente 6.5 – Kept Lazio strikers away from the box.

N’Dicka 6.5 – Always composed, the ex-Eintracht defender keeps improving at the Stadio Olimpico.

Karsdorp 6 – He mainly had defensive duties, so he was rarely dangerous in the final third.

Cristante 6.5 – Had a goal disallowed in the first half for a clear offside. Solid performance in central midfield.

Paredes 6 – Could have moved the ball more quickly, but was always ready to get the ball and help his teammates.

Bove 6.5 – Some dangerous late runs inside the box, but Lazio’s defenders were always ready to stop him. (82’ Renato Sanches N/A)

Spinazzola 5.5 – Returned to the starting XI after an injury and looked sharp initially, but his crosses were not good enough, especially in the second half (90’ Kristensen N/A)

Dybala 6 – Roma’s most creative player, but this is no news. Lazio’s defenders left no space for La Joya who didn’t look happy when he was replaced. (82’ Azmoun N/A)

Lukaku 5.5 – Lazio defenders made sure the Belgian had no space to move, doing anything to stop him. For example, Patric nearly took Lukaku’s shirt off in an attempt to stop his run in the second half, getting a yellow card.

Coach: Mourinho 6 – Roma didn’t create much, but were solid defensively. A decent result, but the Giallorossi need more to finish in the top four.
