Szczesny 6 – Like all his teammates, he was surprised by a free-kick routine that led to Atalanta’s opener. He made a good save on Scamacca after the break.
Gatti 5.5 – Very inaccurate in the build-up and not always focused defensively.
Bremer 5 – Tough game for the Brazilian centre-back. One of his worst performances this season.
Danilo 5.5 – Beaten by Koopmeiners’ late run for Atalanta’s second goal.
Cambiaso 7 – He only gave up when he was subbed off. The ex-Genoa man scored the equaliser and had the attitude that Juventus fans wanted to see. (82′ Weah N/A)
McKennie 7.5 – Two more assists for the USMNT international to make it seven this season. Beyond that, he was always the most convincing central midfielder for Juventus today. Dynamic and selfless despite a fresh shoulder injury Juventus’ MOTM. (88′ Yildiz N/A).
Locatelli 5 – Juventus didn’t move the ball quickly enough. Should have helped the defence more when Juventus took the lead.
Miretti 5 – The Italian midfielder had the first chance of the day for Juventus, but Carnesecchi saved it. Hot and cold. He was overwhelmed by La Dea’s pressing at some point. (76′ Nicolussi Caviglia 6)
Iling Junior 5 – Didn’t show enough courage down the left flank. (82′ Alex Sandro N/A)
Chiesa 6.5 – Missed a huge chance to equalise at the beginning of the second half, but contributed to both Juventus goals and seemed unstoppable in the second half.
Milik 6.5 – The Poland international mostly played with his back to the goal but took his only chance, beating Carnesecchi to give Juventus the lead. It didn’t last long. (76′ Kean 5)
Coach: Allegri 5.5 – Juventus conceded two goals in each of the last four Serie A games for the first time under the Italian tactician. It says all about the Bianconeri’s vulnerability.
Atalanta
Carnesecchi 6.5 – A couple of excellent saves from one of the most promising Italian goalkeepers.
Scalvini 6 – Better in the build-up than defensively. Subbed off after Juventus’ first goal. (67′ Toloi 6)
Hien 6 – Some thought he had nullified Milik, but the Pole scored with his first and only shot on target.
Djimsiti 7 – Assist for Koop’s second goal after a solid first-half performance and a tough second-half.
Zappacosta 5.5 – The Italian replaced the suspended Holm on the right flank, but he’s not the same player we admired at the beginning of the season. He was replaced straight after Cambiaso’s equaliser (67′ Hateboer 6).
Ederson 6.5 – A sublime defensive performance, so it’s understandable that the Brazilian wasn’t so sharp with the ball at his feet.
Pasalic 7 – With 93% passing accuracy, he was the Atalanta playmaker in Turin. One of his key passes was an assist for Koopmeiners.
Ruggeri 6.5 – Not too much quality, but won many duels on the left-hand side of the pitch (88′ Bakker N/A).
Koopmeiners 8 – A goal straight off the training ground for the Dutch midfielder and another one with a perfect late run. He justified Juventus and Manchester United’s interest.
De Ketelaere 5 – He didn’t play as a classic centre forward and was never a real threat. (88′ Miranchuk N/a)
Scamacca 5.5 – Tough physically, earned a free kick converted by Koopmeiners, but must improve technically. (57′ Lookman 6)
Coach: Gasperini 6.5 – Atalanta have regrets as Juventus looked lost for 20 minutes after Koopmeiners’ first goal. They could have lost it too, so Gasp will gladly take one point home.
