Juventus and Inter picked up a 1-1 draw in the big match of Serie A Round 13 with convincing performances from strikers Dusan Vlahovic and Lautaro Martinez.

Juventus

Szczesny 6 – Nothing he could do to avoid Lautaro’s goal.

Rugani 5.5 – Tried to win the ball high up the pitch, but left Juventus exposed instead, leading to Inter’s equaliser.

Bremer 6.5 –Followed Thuram everywhere. The French striker beat him once in the first half when he provided the assist for Lautaro’s equaliser.

Gatti 6 – Tricked by Lautaro Martinez’s movement inside the box. Played a little bit as a centre-back and a little bit as a right-back.

Cambiaso 6.5 – Covered every position on the wing. Right-back, right wing-back and even right winger. Being a defender he felt more at ease when playing in his own half.

McKennie 6 – The American looked in shape and pressed Inter midfielders for 90 minutes.

Nicolussi Caviglia 6 – Surprisingly started his first game this season and showed good personality. (61′ Locatelli 6)

Rabiot 6.5 – Helped Nicolussi Caviglia in the build-up but was also reliable defensively.

Kostic 6 – The Serbian has now turned into a left-back. He was replaced with two minutes remaining after getting a yellow card. (88′ Alex Sandro N/A)

Vlahovic 7 – The Serbian scored his first goal in over two months and gained confidence throughout the match, winning many duels. (80′ Kean N/A)

Chiesa 6.5 – Played wide on the left flank, not as a support striker. Pressed Inter defenders for the whole game and made an assist for Vlahovic with his father Enrico watching him from the stands. (80′ Milik N/A)

Coach: Allegri 6.5 – Surprised Inter with a high pressing, especially in the first half. Juventus didn’t sit as deep as they had done against Fiorentina but felt the lack of quality in the final third.

Inter

Sommer 6 – A quiet (and cold) night, except for Vlahovic’s goal.

Darmian 6 – Outsprinted by Chiesa in the first half, the Italian defender made up for it after the break, playing a wise game defensively.

De Vrij 5.5 – The Dutchman lost sight of Vlahovic when the Juventus striker put Juventus ahead.

Acerbi 6.5 – Played slightly out of position as a left centre-back but was still very solid.

Dumfries 6 – A balanced performance, with not many opportunities to cause danger in the final third. (70′ Cuadrado 6)

Barella 6.5 – Contributed to Lautaro’s equaliser with a through ball for Thuram who then delivered the assist for El Toro. (88′ Frattesi N/A)

Calhanoglu 5.5 – Juventus midfielders didn’t leave too much space for the Turkish star who was not as effective as usual. Not happy when he was subbed off. (83′ Asllani N/A)

Mkhitaryan 6 – Always wise with the ball at his feet, but Juventus midfielders didn’t give him any chance to hurt them.

Dimarco 6 – A diligent defensive performance, but he wasn’t as dangerous as usual in the final third. (70′ Carlos Augusto 6)

Thuram 7 – Delivered a perfect assist for Lautaro’s equaliser. A hard-fought battle with Bremer. His father Lilian, a former Juventus defender, was also in the stands to watch him. (88′ Arnautovic N/A).

Lautaro 7- The Argentinean now has 13 goals in 13 Serie A appearances this term. He was ruthless on another big night for the Nerazzurri. Leader.

Coach: Inzaghi 6 – The Nerazzurri didn’t lose confidence following Vlahovic’s goal and it’s an excellent sign for him. The Inter boss took a while to make substitutions so he must have been happy with the draw.
