Federico Gatti is Football Italia’s MOTM in Juventus’ 1-0 win over Napoli in Turin. Check out player ratings from the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus

Szczesny 7 – Sensational save to deny Di Lorenzo in the first half. The highlight of his game.

Gatti 7.5 – Second consecutive goal after the winner in Monza. Decisive again.

Bremer 6 – Osimhen was probably the toughest opponent he’s faced this season, at least physically.

Danilo 6.5 – The Brazilian returned to the starting XI after over a month. A shaky start, but didn’t lose a single duel in the second half.

Cambiaso 7 – Assist for Gatti and solid defending on Kvara. (90′ Rugani N/A)

McKennie 6.5 – Not the best night with the ball at his feet but his stamina was impressive. Received a standing ovation when he was replaced (90′ Iling Jr N/A)

Locatelli 6.5 – Another brilliant defensive performance and some good cross-field passes.

Rabiot 6.5 – Rarely wasted the ball possession and was tactically wise in helping Juventus‘ defenders.

Kostic 6.5 – Beautiful duels with Politano down the flank. (82′ Alex Sandro N/A)

Chiesa 5.5 – Played the third consecutive game as a left winger but didn’t create much. (82′ Kean N/A)

Vlahovic 5 – One redundant touch prevented him from scoring past Meret in the first half. He looked incredibly frustrated after that. (70′ Milik 6)

Coach: Allegri 6 – Won with a typical Allegri performance and returned to the top of the Serie A table waiting for InterUdinese on Saturday.

Napoli

Meret – 6 Distribution can improve but wasn’t at fault for Gatti’s goal.

Di Lorenzo 5 – An incredible chance missed in the first half and poor defending on Gatti’s goal. A terrible night for the Partenopei captain.

Rrahmani 5 – Gatti won an aerial duel with the Kosovo international and Di Lorenzo to give Juventus the lead just after the break.

Juan Jesus 6 – Did nothing out of the ordinary to be the best Napoli defender tonight.

Natan 5.5 – Decent defensively, but he was subbed off when Napoli needed more crosses in. (72′ Zanoli 6)

Lobotka – 5 Didn’t move the ball quickly enough. (86′ Cajuste N/A)

Anguissa 5.5 – Not the best performance Anguissa has offered over the last couple of seasons. Sloppy.

Zielinski 5 – Struggled to play in tight spaces in the middle of the park. A tough moment for the Poland international after an outstanding start to the season. (65′ Elmas 5.5)

Politano 5.5 – A decent start, but Kostic won the duel on the right flank in the long run. (72′ Raspadori 5)

Kvaratskhelia 4.5 – Missed Napoli’s best chance in the first half, all alone against Szczesny. Out of frustration, he got an avoidable yellow card minutes later for throwing the ball at Gatti. (86′ Simeone N/A)

Osimhen 6 – The pass for Kvara was perfect, but the Georgian wasted Napoli’s best chance. Proved to be a tricky opponent for Bremer, but it wasn’t enough.

Coach: Mazzarri 5 – Three defeats in the opening four games since his return. Napoli played on par with Juventus but lost again. The Scudetto seems gone already.
