Miralem Pjanic has reportedly assured Roma fans that they’ll win on Thursday against Fiorentina in the Europa League.

The Giallorossi have not won in five Serie A games, losing 2-0 at Sampdoria last night to all-but hand the title to Juventus for a fourth year in a row, with the gap now 14 points.

Rudi Garcia’s men face the Viola in the Last 16 of the Europa League aiming to salvage their season, and at a visit to a local school, Pjanic has assured they’ll emerge victorious.

“We’re not doing it on purpose,” Ansa reports the Bosnian responded when asked by a fan why the team was not winning anymore.

“We’re going through a negative period [but] we’ll win on Thursday.”
