Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has been released from international duty by Bosnia and Herzegovina due to injury.

He pulled up during last night’s 3-0 Italy victory in Zenica, suffering from a muscular problem in his right adductor.

The Bosnian Federation announced this afternoon that Pjanic would be released early, as he won’t be fit to play against Liechtenstein on Monday.

He will now undergo tests with his club in Turin to ascertain the extent of the damage.
