The Bosnia international joined the Blaugrana during the summer when the Bianconeri swapped him with Arthur Melo and the former Giallorossi man said he now plays for ‘the best club in the world’.

“Now I play for Barcelona, the best club in the world and with the style of play I’ve always wanted to have,” Pjanic told Canal Plus.

“But I’m still not satisfied. I want to have the opportunity to win big titles. That’s my target. To be the best and win the big titles. That’s what I want.”

He said he could have joined Juventus two years prior to his actual move from Roma in July 2016, after having spent five seasons at the Olimpico.

“I had the opportunity to go to clubs like Bayern Munich and Inter in the past, but I didn’t think it was the right moment.

“Furthermore, I could have joined Juventus two years before I did, but even then, I felt it was not the right time.

“I risked losing two years at a club where Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal played regularly.”

Pjanic played 281 games in Serie A, contributing 42 goals and 73 assists during his five yeras at Roma and then four with Juventus.
