Miralem Pjanic bagged a brace and hit the crossbar, as Bosnia-Herzegovina beat Finland 4-1 in Italy’s Euro 2020 qualifying group.

The Juventus midfielder was pivotal in this evening’s home victory, which allows Bosnia to close within two points of second-placed Finland in Group J.

Pjanic converted a penalty and fired in a chest and volley, while his free kick bounced off the woodwork.

Italy remain six points clear and can mathematically secure their qualification tonight by beating Greece.

The battle is on for the second qualifying spot, as Finland now have 12 points, Bosnia 10 and Armenia (with a game in hand) nine.

Greece are on five and will play at the Stadio Olimpico this evening.
