It is reported that Marko Pjaca will be allowed to leave Juventus on loan in the January transfer window.

The Croatian is still returning to fitness after suffering knee ligament damage towards the end of last season.

He has made four appearances for the Old Lady’s Primavera team since November and has been on the bench for recent first-team fixtures.

However, he is yet to take to the field under Max Allegri and it appears his standing in Juve’s attacking pecking order has dropped considerably in his absence.

Tutto Juve claim that the Serie A champions now want to send Pjaca away on loan, with a foreign club playing in the Europa League the preferred option.

As such, it is thought German side Schalke and Russian outfit Zent St Petersburg are the favourites to secure his signature.

A loan move is seen as the ideal solution for all parties. The Old Lady cannot guarantee Pjaca playing time but do not want to lose him, while the player is looking to return to form and fitness ahead of next summer’s World Cup.
