Torino announce their striker Marko Pjaca won’t be available against Venezia due to a calf injury.

The Croatian forward scored back-to-back goals against Sassuolo and Lazio, but will be forced out of action on Monday, when the Granata meet Venezia at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo.

The Serie A side have announced the Juventus loanee suffered a calf injury which will be assessed in the coming days.

“The instrumental tests that Marko Pjaca was subjected to showed a distracting resentment to the right calf suffered in the final minutes of Torino-Lazio,” the club’s official statement read.

“The prognosis will be defined according to the clinical evolution of the injury.”

Torino have collected seven points from the opening five games of the season with Ivan Juric in charge.
