Pjaca due for new Juventus tests

Marko Pjaca will be in Turin for tests tomorrow, as Juventus hope the cracked fibula will only rule him out for 15-20 days.

The winger sustained the injury on international duty with Croatia.

“After attempting to train with his teammates on Monday, Pjaca felt a pain in his leg which existed even before the meet-up,” the HNS confirmed in a statement.

The winger sustained the injury on international duty with Croatia.

“After attempting to train with his teammates on Monday, Pjaca felt a pain in his leg which existed even before the meet-up,” the HNS confirmed in a statement.

“Today’s review of the MRI at the Sv. Katarina hospital showed a fibular infraction, or cracked fibula which will rule him out for the Kosovo and Finland games.”

According to Sky Sport Italia and La Stampa, Pjaca will return to Turin tomorrow for tests at the J-Medical centre.

The club hopes it is only a stress fracture and rather than six weeks out, he could be sidelined for only 15-20 days.

The statement from the Croatian Federation implies Pjaca had the injury before he arrived for international duty.
