“I want to see the same spirit as always, so we can have fun and be together with our families to enjoy the occasion,” said Pirlo in a Press conference.

“I want to see the same spirit as always, so we can have fun and be together with our families to enjoy the occasion,” said Pirlo in a Press conference.
“Almost all my former teammates will be there. I chose San Siro because that’s where I played for most of my career and met so many of my teammates.
“It was also a logistical issue to help those who are coming in from abroad and can land in Milan.”
Pirlo won the World Cup in 2006, but Italy currently do not have a Coach after failing to qualify for the 2018 tournament and sacking Giampiero Ventura.
“I don’t work in the Federation, so I couldn’t tell you the ideal candidate. Many names are circulating and they’ll choose who is best to reconstruct Italian football.”
While Pirlo is hanging up his boots, Juventus goalkeeper Buffon is still undecided, despite turning 40 last month.
“He has three or four months to decide what to do with his future and he’s old enough to make his own choices.
“Juve are better-equipped than Napoli to win the Scudetto, but while the Partenopei are out in front, they have a better chance. In my view, Juve are still a step above.
“Gennaro Gattuso is doing very well at Milan and I hoped he would. I spoke to him a few days ago and am really pleased for him. If I were in charge of the club, I’d start thinking of offering him a new contract, because I believe he can do even better.
“Rino has brought great enthusiasm, a sense of belonging and that is what was missing at Milan in recent years. Hopefully he can take Milan back to what they were in recent years.”
