Andrea Pirlo insists a new striker is not a priority for Juventus even if Paulo Dybala still has knee problems.

The Old Lady beat Bologna 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday with goals from Arthur and Weston McKennie.

The Italian coach said the Old Lady should have been more clinical before discussing the club’s transfer strategies in January.

“We don’t need a new striker,” he said at a press conference attended by Football Italia.

“We are monitoring the situation, but a new striker is not a priority.”

When will Paulo Dybala return to action?

“He is trying to improve, he has problems at his knee. We’ll evaluate him day by day.”

Juventus are now seven points behind table leaders Milan, but with one game in hand.

“We must only focus about ourselves, our path depends on what we do.

“Both Milan and Inter want to win the title and the same is true of Roma and Napoli, it will be a fight until the end.”

The Rossoneri have signed former Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.

“It’s normal Milan want to sign important players, I don’t know Mandzukic because we didn’t play together here at Juventus, but he is a great striker and he will prove his worth.”
