Tudor, a former Udinese and Hajduk Split coach, joined Pirlo’s technical staff in the summer. Unlike the former midfielder and his assistant Roberto Baronio, the Croat had already had some coaching experience, which is one of the main reasons he was brought in.

In March, Repubblica.it reported that Tudor was no more on good terms with Pirlo and Baronio. Nevertheless, he hasn’t quit the job and according to La Stampa, he could be named interim coach if Juventus lose against Udinese on Sunday.

La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper insists Tudor hasn’t settled into the technical staff due to his different views. ‘He has been left aside for differences of opinion and hasn’t been integrated into a modern team, as President Andrea Agnelli defined it at the beginning of the season,’ the report reads.

Juventus sit fourth in the Serie A table, with five games remaining, level on points with Napoli and Milan.

They will face both the Rossoneri and Inter in the last five games of the season. It remains to be seen whether Pirlo will still be in charge when the Milanese sides travel to the Allianz Stadium in May.
