After Carlo Ancelotti walked away, Everton are reportedly looking at Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Ranieri to take over.

The Toffees are without a coach following Ancelotti’s decision to return to Real Madrid.

According to Calciomercato.it and the Daily Mail, former Juventus boss Pirlo is one of the candidates for the role.

Pirlo had his first ever season of management at Juve, winning the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup, reaching fourth place in Serie A.

He was fired after just one year to make way for returning Max Allegri.

There are also suggestions that veteran Ranieri could be considered for Everton, as he is no stranger to the Premier League with Chelsea and Leicester City.

Ranieri is a free agent after failing to agree an extension at Sampdoria.
