Pirlo and Italiano were given emergency extensions because they had already begun the course, completing it this afternoon at the Coverciano training centre.
The coaches all began the course in September 2019 and had to attend 240 hours of lessons, including on-line versions that were organised during the lockdown.
Every student then had to sit an exam on their thesis and present it in a verbal exam too.
Juventus boss Pirlo is the most famous student to get his badges today, but he was by no means the only one.
Italiano helped Spezia to their first ever promotion into Serie A and he passed too, along with Sambenedettese coach Montero, former players Marco Cassetti, Morgan De Sanctis and Under-17 women’s boss Nazzarena Grilli.
Tomorrow’s set of exams include ex-Genoa coach Thiago Motta, Under-15 Italy tactician Patrizia Panico, Cristian Chivu, Emiliano Bigica, Mohamed Kallon, Roberto Muzzi, Angelo Palombo and Luca Toni.
