Ibrahimovic is back at San Siro, ready to embark on his second stint as a Rossonero and could be included in the line-up already against Sampdoria on Monday.
The coach Pioli is very happy to see the Swedish superstar back at Milan and claimed he will bring the required “enthusiasm and experience”.
“Ibrahimovic is an insatiable player, he has charisma and he has never stopped improving or updating his game,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “He will bring enthusiasm, experience and a great desire.
“The club and the directors have given me a great gift, now we must exploit Ibra in the right way, not using him as a shield, like [Zvonimir] Boban rightly said.”
The coach has admitted they need to bounce back from the horrid 5-0 loss to Atalante before the Christmas break.
“We need a radical change to forget the bad defeat against Atalanta,” he added. “Nobody wins alone. Ibra is Ibra, but we must learn to be Milan.
“We need to acquire the conviction and determination we have been lacking too many times. Ibra seems charged, we spoke and will continue to do so. Ideas and solutions arise from dialogue.”
