Lazio warned it could take days to resolve the contract he still holds with them, but Sky is now reporting that he will be officially appointed tomorrow.
It’s expected that Pioli will sign an 18-month contract worth around €1.3m per season plus bonuses.
In addition, former Beneamata defender Walter Samuel will be his assistant, having spent nine seasons with the club as a player, winning the treble in 2010.
