Stefano Pioli could stay on as Milan coach if Ralf Rangnick is only appointed sporting director, claims Tuttosport.

Rangnick seems headed for Milan this summer, amidst reports he will be given total control of coaching and recruitment.

However, Tuttosport writes there is a possibility the German will only be brought in as sporting director.

If that is the case, the newspaper expects Pioli’s chances of being kept on ‘increased significantly’.
